SpokenWorld Audio is the new home for audio fans...a safe-haven for forgotten and ignored audio...a commissioner of new audio productions...and your one-stop shop for independently-produced radio programmes! No longer do you need to rely on the poor-quality downloads of other audiobook retailers. No more should you feel bound by the broadcasters and their lack of commissioning opportunities. We are starting a revolution in audio and you are invited to join us...as a listener, as a contributor and as a supplier.

Neil Gardner

Neil Gardner has worked in professional radio for 22 years, starting in local BBC and commercial radio as a technician and working his way up to programme controller. He has worked in local, regional, national and international radio stations, has engineered, presented, produced and programmed at all levels. He is an award-winning radio writer & director, with a love of scifi and comedy. He is also the Managing Director of Ladbroke productions, the UK's oldest radio indie. He can also be found producing numerous audiobooks for AudioGo, the home of BBC Audiobooks and Doctor Who Audio Adventures. |
Paul Kent

Paul Kent is an award-winning radio and audiobook producer with over 25 years experience. He has worked at the BBC, producing radio readings, drama and documentaries, he was the Programme Director of One Word Radio, and continues to work as an in-demand abridger, producer, vocal coach and writer. |
Nick Lawrence

Nick Lawrence is a media and entertainment industry accountant, with a real love for music and audio production. His own company, Blue Squared Finance, represents some 600+ media/music clients across the globe. A dab hand with the turntables, and a nut for obscure vinyl of the 1970's, Nick brings both business skills and a passion for media to the company. Nick is also the CFO of Ladbroke Productions. |
Simon Willey
| Simon Willey is a multi-talented musician and sound engineer who works on both radio productions and a multitude of music projects. He has recorded, edited and composed for numerous BBC radio productions, including the award-winning science fiction drama "Mayflies". He is the co-owner and operator of Area19 studios in North London. |
Peter Dickson

Peter Dickson is a UK voice-over legend...best known for his X-Factor and E4 VOs, and for his comedy sketches and appearances online, on TV and on radio. A man of many voices, actor, producer and all round good egg. His 'app' is a best-seller, and his website www.myruddyvoice.com allows punters to order up Peter VO's saying anything they want...ruddy marvellous! |
